At Stuarts Point Public School learning from home is being supported by both non-digital and digital platforms. All learning will be monitored by teachers from school and covers the curriculum. Please contact the school if you need any help with learning from home.
While at school, all students have engaged in learning lessons about digital citizenship. Further information about digital citizenship is provided by the NSW Department of Education.
Here are some helpful guides for parents to support the use of technology while learning at home.
How to access the Student Portal, Email and Google Classroom
1. Go to https://stuartspt-p.schools.nsw.gov.au/
2. Click ‘log in’ (top right hand corner of website) and then select Student Portal.
3. Students will need to log in with their username and password. Please contact the school if your child is unsure of their log in or needs their password reset.
4. From the student portal homepage, click on email.
To access Google Classroom:
5. From the Student Portal homepage, click on the ‘learning’ module.
6. Click ‘more’
7. Click G-Suite (Google Apps for Education)
8. Click on Classroom and select the class

Using Microsoft Teams
At Stuarts Point Public School we are going to use Microsoft Office Teams to virtually connect with students. Microsoft Teams is part of the Office 365 platform and as such is free for students to access and use. Following is some information to help parents and students to access and use teams.

Installing Teams - While Teams works well in Google Chrome Browsers, we recommend installing the App on both Laptop and mobile devices.

Logging into Teams - Open the app, or go to teams.microsoft.com and sign in using your school email (user.name@education.nsw.gov.au)
