Students at Stuarts Point Public School don't mind getting their hands dirty at playtime.
Volunteers help weed and tend to our vegetable garden. Crops are planted, watered and cared for by a group of students with 'a green thumb'. They take great delight in harvesting produce that is then used by students to cook for the rest of the school in their 'Kids in the Kitchen' or to be munched on during 'Fruit Bat'.
We are always on the lookout for community volunteers to continue our students enthusiasm. Please contact the school for further information. Thank you to Mr Miles who donates numerous hours to tend to our garden so student can 'munch' on fresh vegetables.
